Landlords can stay up to date on the latest legislation, as well as hear a wealth of information about grants and schemes they can access.

Cherwell District Council is hosting a landlord forum on the evening of Thursday, 30 January at Bodicote House, Banbury, where local homeowners can meet housing officers to discuss the range of support available to them.

The event will support landlords to ensure they can access all the information and resources they need to provide safe, affordable and energy efficient housing.

The forum is a useful way for landlords to ensure that they are up to date on the latest information about home grants and renters’ rights to ensure those who rent their homes live somewhere with high housing standards.

The event is also an opportunity for homeowners considering renting out property to find out more about programmes like Warm Home Grants, resettlement schemes and the Cherwell Bond Scheme.

The forum is free and open to current, and future landlords, doors open at 17:45 with event starting at 18:00. The grants and standards team from the council will be present to answer questions.
