How we use your information collected by the service
We have statutory obligations to consult where required with Water Companies and Fire and Rescue Services. On occasions we may also need to consult with Structural Engineers and other specialists.

What information is processed?
The information contained in your application and any associated documents.
Retention period
In the case of an application for which a Completion Certificate is issued or of an expired application (where work has not commenced within 3 years) we will retain your application in a secure electronic format for 15 years in accordance with Government guidance.
In the case of an application where work has commenced but where no Completion Certificate has been issued we will retain your application in a secure electronic format until the Completion certificate has been issued.
