1. Nomination papers may be obtained by downloading and printing a copy from the Electoral Commission website, emailing elections@cherwell-dc.gov.uk or telephoning 01295 221534. Paper copies may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon OX15 4AA, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), 9am to 5pm. You may also obtain nomination papers from the clerk to the Town Council listed above.
2. Nomination papers must be delivered in person to the Returning Officer, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm but no later than 4pm on Friday 17 January 2025. Appointments can be made by email or telephone – elections@cherwell-dc.gov.uk or 01295 221534.
3. If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 13 February 2025.
4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 28 January 2025. Applications can be made online.
5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA by 5pm on Wednesday 29 January 2025. Applications can be made online.
6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 5 February 2025. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate can be made online.
7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA by 5pm on Wednesday 5 February 2025. Some applications can be made online.
8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election for permitted reasons that occurred after 5pm on Wednesday 5 February 2025 must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA by 5pm on Thursday 13 February 2025.
