What it involves
An officer will contact you to arrange a two hour visit to your premises at a time convenient for you. The visit will include:
- A hard copy of Safer Food Better Business and coaching on how to use it
- A walk around/inspection of your premises, highlighting areas where change/improvement is required
- Temperature checks
- Cleanliness checks using ATP testing techniques
- Audit/review of your food safety management system
- Closing meeting
You will receive a full written report highlighting areas of good practice and where improvements are required. The report will also indicate what your rating score would be and what needs to be done to achieve a higher score.
