In Cherwell, Neighbourhood Plans are produced by Parish or Town Councils. When ‘made’ they become part of the statutory Development Plan to which regard must be given in the determination of planning applications. A Neighbourhood Plan should support the delivery of strategic policies contained in Local Plans.
