Council calls on government to enact renters’ reforms
We've written to the government calling on ministers to bring forward reforms for people who rent their homes as soon as possible.
The government’s proposed Renters Reform Bill promises to empower tenants by making them feel more secure in their homes and more confident of the standard of housing they receive.
It would also provide greater powers for councils like us to intervene when it becomes necessary in cases of substandard rented housing.
