Oxfordshire County Council Elections 2025
Overview
Elections for Oxfordshire County Council are scheduled for 1 May 2025. Cherwell District Council will be running the County Council Elections in the Cherwell District on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council but will be reporting to the Oxfordshire County Council Returning Officer. A centralised count will take place on the 2 May 2025.

Information for Candidates
The County Council Returning Officer held briefings for prospective candidates and agents on Thursday 6 March 2025 and Wednesday 9 April 2025. Please email the Cherwell District Council Democratic and Elections Team if you would like a copies of the presentations.

There are no scheduled elections for the District Council or Parish Councils for 1 May 2025. There are however three district by-elections
