Kidlington Parish Poll - 10 May 2023

A Parish Poll allows for a ballot of local government electors in the parish to be called on any question arising at a parish meeting. 

The way in which a Parish Poll can be called and how Parish Polls are run is set out in the Parish and Community Meetings (Polls) Rules 1987.

Following receipt of a valid request for a Parish Poll, the Returning Officer determined that the Poll would be held in the parish of Kidlington on Wednesday 10 May 2023. Polling was between the hours of 4pm and 9pm.

The proposal to which the question relates has therefore been lost. 

The results of a Parish Poll are not binding on the Parish Council and the full cost of running the poll must be borne by the Parish Council
